Explore Brings Back Tunisia After Seven Year Gap

Adventure operator Explore is returning to Tunisia in 2024 after an absence of almost seven years.
A nine-night Best of Tunisia tour has been created including an overnight stay in a desert camp.

Leading in at £1,495 per person excluding flights, the itinerary also includes the ruins of the ancient city of Carthage, Sidi Bou Said and the Troglodyte rock dwellings of Matmata.

Managing director Michael Edwards said: “We’re delighted to be operating in Tunisia again after a gap of almost seven years.

“Tunisia is a destination that we are repeatedly asked about. Tunisia is a destination that offers lots of variety and fascinating archaeological sites – it’s a great destination ideal for those with a keen interest in the Roman Empire and Arab/Ottoman history.”
