Libya strongly condemned an Israeli military raid in the West Bank city of Nablus on Wednesday, which killed 11 Palestinians and injured 102 others, the Libyan Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
“Libya’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation rejects this aggression against our Palestinian people in Nablus,” the statement said.
The ministry demands the active international organizations take all necessary measures to protect Palestinian people and their sanctities from the continuous aggression, it said.
Ten Palestinians were killed by Israeli soldiers, including an old man and a 14-year-old boy during an Israeli army military operation in the city of Nablus, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement on Wednesday.
The Israeli military also confirmed in a statement that an operation was underway in Nablus, but did not provide further information immediately.
